Five Thailand beaches have been recognized as some of the most beautiful in the world, according to the 2023 “Top 100 Beaches on Earth” ranking by the World Beach Guide website.
Koh Kradan, an island located in the southern province of Trang in the Andaman Sea, was named the best beach destination in the world by the United Kingdom-based publication.

Other Thailand Beaches on the List
Freedom Beach in Phuket Province, Laem Beach on Yao Yai Island in Phangnga Province, and Tanot Bay Beach on Ko Tao of Surat Thani Province also made the list, coming in at ninth, 18th, 21st, and 44th place, respectively.
Government spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri said Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha is pleased with the recognition of the five Thailand beaches, which he said are an important natural resource that has great economic potential for tourism.
Anucha said that the Tourism Authority of Thailand is focused on strengthening the “Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters” campaign, which emphasizes the promotion and development of high-value and sustainable tourism in Thailand.
Key strategies include highlighting the Kingdom’s 5F soft-power foundations, which are food, film, festival, fight, and fashion, to offer meaningful travel experiences in Thailand.
