Pattayaโs two best ladyboy bars โ Peachy Lily and Katoeys Are Us โ kick off the holiday season this week with two big parties six days apart.
Peachy Lily on Soi LK Metro on Friday celebrates its second anniversary while one of two partners in Katoeys Are Us on Soi Buakhao hosts a themed โMidnight Cowboyโ birthday bash Dec. 11.
Both parties will feature free food, stage shows and expanded lineups.
Katoeys Are Us: A Ladyboy Institution Reinvented
Katoeys Are Us carries one of the longest legacies in Pattayaโs ladyboy nightlife scene. Known for its casual service style and strong lineup, KRU operated for years on Soi Diamond before relocating in mid-2025 to the former Stunners go-go bar location Soi Buakhao, joining the cityโs fastest-growing nightlife district.
Online reviews for KRU over the past decade paint a picture of a venue that survived on personality as much as production. Pattaya-Addicts forum users once referred to it as โa fun stop with a wild cast,โ while the travel site NaughtyThailand.com called it โone of the easiest LB bars in the city for newcomers โ no pressure, no attitude, just shows and laughs.โ
While KRU survived, the coronavirus pandemic, business was never the same, with 2024 being the worst year. Until then, there was only one ladyboy go-go bar on Walking Street. But the monopoly was broken with the opening of Living Color, also located on Soi Diamond, but closer to the main Walking Street. Combined with Pattayaโs changing demographics, the old KRU had to either move, or close.
Closing was a real possibility until Stunners went bust and a deal was struck for KRUโs partners to take over the venue. The move was made in May, with improvements to the club made throughout the year, culminating in October.
The relocation to Soi Buakhao allowed the bar to update its layout while preserving its longtime identity. The new address gives the venue stronger street visibility, later-night foot traffic and a larger space for shows, especially during seasonal events such as Noelโs birthday, which has traditionally been one of the barโs busiest nights.
Peachy Lily: A Newcomer That Found Its Place
Before that happens, Peachy Lily will celebrate its second anniversary.
The ladyboy lounge โ named for its manager and public face transgender OnlyFans and Twitter star Peachy Lily โ entered the market in 2023, taking over fabled bar boss Rickyโs Pandoraโs go-go bar on LK Metro and converting it into a boutique transgender lounge.
Peachy Lilyโs establishment came at the same time the partners were mulling Katoeys Are Usโ future. It was possible, two years ago, that KRU would fold and Peachy would be the future. But, as it turned out, both have not only survived, but thrived in the Buakhao neighborhood.

Peachyโs layout, featuring a compact stage, high tables for groups and and a layout designed for conversation as much as performance actually inspired the design of the new Katoeys Are Us, which has a larger stage and sofa seating, but also six high tables and a more-private upstairs lounge with a small stage and sofa area and large group table with private stage.
Travel and nightlife listings have noted the barโs modern look and consistent roster. TravelGay.com includes it among LK Metroโs transgender venues, citing its โapproachable atmosphereโ and steady nightly sets.
Discussions on Pattaya forums describe Peachy Lily as a smaller, more comfortable alternative to Walking Streetโs high-pressure venues, with one reviewer writing that the bar was โfriendly, relaxed, and a good first stop for anyone curious about LB shows.โ
In its first two years, Peachy Lily has built a stable following on a street known for rapid turnover. The bar has positioned itself between LKโs high-energy go-gos and its casual beer bars, offering a mid-range experience aimed at repeat visitors as much as short-stay tourists.
The Dec. 5 party, as well as Noelโs Dec. 11 birthday at KRU, begin at 8 p.m. Organizers expect a big night, so get there early.
