Can’t be in Pattaya? You can now “be there” via the Rum Runner livestream, anywhere in the world.
Phil “Mr. Egg” Ross launched a weekly live stream on Kick showcasing dancers at the Soi Buakhao go-go, giving audiences of the Rum Runner livestream worldwide a virtual front-row seat to the club’s stage action.
Ross, popular on YouTube for his Pattaya nightlife content, made the move to Kick for the Rum Runner livestream to avoid restrictions.
He critiqued YouTube’s demonetizing of adult content and music, saying, “when it’s just a five-second blast when you’re going past a bar, it seems a bit unfair,” referring to music copyright enforcement.
He emphasized that he still maintains a vibrant YouTube presence, with a behind-the-scenes members-only vlog and weekly public videos about life in Pattaya.
Rum Runner Livestream on Kick
The new Kick format for the Rum Runner livestram features two live segments each week. On Saturdays, Ross takes viewers on “IRL” rides through Pattaya streets, streaming sights and commentary while on his bike.
His go-go dance show follows later in the week: a one-hour stream from Rum Runner that centers on performances by stage dancers.
He explained that the concept was dancer-driven. The dancers themselves requested to be featured:
“There’s no obligation for anyone to do it and the girls that do appear are there because they’ve asked me,” he said.
Ross emphasized that the streams do not include nudity and are intended to convey the club’s vibe, complete with music, lighting, and atmosphere.
Kick Channel Growing
The new Kick channel – real_misteregg already has drawn around 500 followers in its first month. Ross described this as a “healthy community.”
Ross frames streaming as both a business tool and a personal interest.
“Some people have a train set, some people buy an Aston Martin or Harley Davidson. I got into live streaming,” he said.
He also noted he will speak on Aug. 23 at a Yolo Live event in Bangkok about livestreaming nightlife content while managing platform restrictions.
By offering live-streamed go-go shows and street tours, Ross is giving fans around the world a new way to experience Pattaya’s nightlife – and maybe inspire a real visit to Rum Runner.
