New Drink Specials at The Hive Pattaya Take Sting Out of Walking Street Boozing

    The Hive Drink Specials

The Hive on Thursday dropped a new set of nightly drink specials, giving Walking Street drinkers something rare after 10 p.m.: prices that stay low when most bars have already gone full freight.

While happy hours across Pattayaโ€™s famed nightlife strip typically end by 9 p.m., The Hive is pushing the opposite direction, rolling out rotating nightly specials that kick in at 10 p.m. and run until close โ€” right when crowds peak and tabs usually climb.

    Night-by-Night Drink Specials

Each night brings different drink specials. Monday keeps it simple with draft beer at 80 baht, setting the tone for a week built around value rather than flash. Tuesday switches to spirits, with Smirnoff vodka priced at 95 baht, undercutting standard Walking Street rates well past prime time.

Wednesday turns into a breather night with soft drink specials at 80 baht, before Thursday brings bottled local beers down to 80 baht each. The drink specials lineup covers all the usual favorites: Singha, Leo, Chang, San Miguel Light, Heineken and Asahi.

Friday opens things up with a trio that plays well late โ€” soju, tequila and Tequila Rose โ€” all priced at 95 baht. Sojuโ€™s lighter profile makes it a popular choice for long sessions, while Tequila Rose adds a sweeter option alongside straight tequila pours.

Saturday drink specials, when Walking Street is at its busiest, leans into gin, with Gordonโ€™s priced at 95 baht. Sunday closes the week with the sharpest drink specials on the board: draft beer and local bottled beers at just 69 baht.

All of the nightly drink specials begin at 10 p.m. and run until The Hiveโ€™s 4 a.m. close, landing squarely in the window when most bars have already reset to standard, higher pricing.

More Drinks Specials During Happy Hour

The Hive is also keeping its Happy Hour from 8:30 to 10 p.m., though with a notable change. Previously, selected spirits were included at 95 baht. That spirits option has been removed, tightening Happy Hour into a beer-only play.

During Happy Hour, draft beer drops to 49 baht and local bottled beers to 59 baht, creating a clean handoff: early-evening beers at rock-bottom prices, followed by rotating nightly specials once Happy Hour ends.

    The Hive Resets the Bar

The Hive rebranded in late 2025 after a full reset of the former Tantra space, emerging as a no-nonsense Walking Street go-go aimed squarely at expats and tourists who come for dancers, drinks and momentum โ€” not velvet ropes or inflated menus.

The room favors bright sightlines, steady dancer rotation and a pace that keeps customers engaged rather than parked.

Since rebranding, the go-go bar has leaned into straightforward value and familiar gogo rhythms at a time when much of Walking Street has pushed toward bigger rooms, higher prices and more transactional nights.

In addition to the new drink specials, The Hive also lowered regular prices on soft drinks as a limited-time promotion.

Recent themed runs, including Christmas programming and a Japanese-inspired New Year stretch, helped establish The Hive as a place willing to experiment visually while keeping its core appeal intact.

The new nightly drink specials extend that same idea to pricing, giving regulars and first-time visitors a reason to stay put after 10 p.m. instead of bar-hopping in search of a deal.
