In what has become a Bangkok tradition, Fatty’s Bar and Diner celebrates its 11th anniversary with the two-day musical Fat Fest 11 June 9-10.
The famously grungy space in Rama 9, Fatty’s Fat Fest 11 be offering a limited, picnic-style food menu in a mostly Wisconsin style: bratwurst, hot dogs, chili, and tacos with potato salad, coleslaw, and a few other sides. You’ll also find beer specials and chugging contests.
More than 20 bands are lined up to play at the festival, which is free with no cover charge.
Fat Fest 11 Lineup
The final band lineup includes Bang Sue Electrix, Matthew Fischer, Spitting Dicks, Claire Stanley-Bone Clone, the Porter Bhoys, Tres Hombres (ZZ Top Tribute), Roy Jet, Local Machine Ragged Company (Rolling Stones Tribute), Plague Pits Selassie Tai Sound System, Dj Old School Dave, 15 Strange Seconds, Fever Fields, Rob Saltsman and Nostalgic Drive.
Fatty’s mostly flies under the radar but boasts a loyal following and has a strong sense of community, plus a rock vibe offering one of the most legit live music venues in Bangkok.
Fatty’s serves all-American junk food from burgers to buffalo wings and to hot dogs at reasonable prices.
