There will be drag queens, costume contests and free food when the main man behind three Bangkok go-go bars celebrates with Shark, Red Dragon and Mandarin birthday party.
Philippe, the French expat who writes the checks at Mandarin Club, Red Dragon Club & Lounge and Shark Club, doesnโt usually have birthday parties in the bar. But that was B.C.: Before Covid. Now itโs a whole different game and Mandarin birthday party (and more) are on tap for Dec. 5.
Mandarin Birthday Party
While Soi Cowboy will rev up celebrations late, Nana Plaza will see most of the action at Red Dragon, the newest of his three Bangkok bars, and the Mandarin birthday party. (The same group also operates Fahrenheit and Shark in Pattaya.)
There will be plenty of food for staff and customers alike and, after 10 p.m. a special guest from the โDrag Queen Thailandโ show will put on a campy performance. The ladies also are being encouraged to dress up in their most flamboyant with a chance to win cash prizes for the best getups.
Once โHappy Birthdayโ has been sung, the candles blown out and cake sliced, the Mandarin birthday party gang will move down to Soi Cowboy for a birthday party there.
No matter where you go, itโs sure to be a great night, so stop by and wish Philippe a happy b-day.
