Always a Party at Rum Runner Pattaya

Party at Rum Runner Pattaya

On a Monday night, when Walking Street was dead, the party at Rum Runner was in full swing.

I was stunned when I swung the door open at Mr. Eggโ€™s new(ish) Soi Buakaho go-go bar around 10 p.m. July 21 and found a full house party at Rum Runner.

The 80s & 90s rock tunes were hitting all the right notes and the rows of seating on both sides of โ€œthe worldโ€™s most expensive go-go stageโ€ were full of happy guys with sexy girls.

Party at Rum Runner with Hot Girls

Mr. Egg, aka Phil Ross, has assembled quite a lineup of ladies since opening a little more than two months ago. Star attraction Maya was in the house for the party at Rum Runner, as were PenthouseX refugees Tao & Khao. Thereโ€™s someone for everyone, but more than one if your tastes trend toward young, thin and pretty.

Mr. Egg doesnโ€™t like to talk about prices, but the menu has to be seen to be believed. Before โ€œhappy hourโ€ ends at 10 p.m. beers and spirits can be had at prices not seen in a a go-go bar in a decade.

After a couple rounds of drinks with a couple lovelies, I handed over a single currency note and still got change back.

The party at Rum Runner rocked in stark contrast to Walking Street, where I ended up later on. Even the biggest go-go bars were half-empty on this Monday night and the only vibe was what you brought with you. Bouncing around from go-go to go-go, I couldnโ€™t replicate the party at Rum Runner. And I ended up conspicuously poorer for the effort. If youโ€™re in Pattaya and in source of a guaranteed good time, thereโ€™s always a party at Rum Runner.
