Once upon a time, Pattaya was but a small, tranquil fishing village similar to Rayong. Now fast forward to 2020 and Pattaya has grown into a city-on-sea. Renowned for its notorious naughty nightlife, Pleasure Playground is visited by tourists from all corners of the globe.
Why anybody would want to bring their family here is mystifying to me but surprisingly foreigners do bring their kids. Whilst Britain’s Blackpool offers bright lights and bingo, Pattaya is more about neon jungles and agogo!
My pseudonym for Pattaya is sex-on-sea and despite claims to the contrary, I cannot see that changing anytime in the near future. Perhaps these families think Pattaya is an Oriental Disneyland, but the big difference is the rides in this pleasure playground are for adults!
Today I want to bring to your attention, the smallish ‘L’ shaped street called LK Metro. This little diamond in the rough has become increasingly popular, especially among Western tourists and resident sexpats farangs.
The map below ⇓ shows how LK Metro has expanded into a little lovers lane comprising of beer bars and girly bars. And, before you ask me, YES! I often visit LK Metro because I’m the Go-Go Guru :)
