THAI PM DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY IN PATTAYA
The forthcoming summit of Asian leaders in Thailand has been postponed due to anti-government protests. Hundreds of Thai protesters in red shirts forced their way into the summit venue in Pattaya. Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has declared a state of emercency in the beach resort of Pattaya. Thai news channels have reported that there is a chance that the bars might not be allowed to open tonight.
