Do you want to sink your teeth into something substantial?ย Calm down lads, Iโm not talking about kinky sex!ย Well guys, the Big Mango Bar will be serving food from today.ย This week I had the opportunity to have a sneak peak at the new kitchen.ย Iโm pleased to report that it is now operational.ย This comes as terrific news for those of you who particularly miss the Big Mango burger.ย Itโs a tasty burger, and itโs very reasonably price too.ย ย ย
The Big Mangoโs Grand Opening Party is planned for early July.ย I will let you know, as soon as the date has been confirmed.ย You may want to pencil in this significant date โ July 4th.ย Do I have to refresh your memory about this historic day?ย It comes as no surprise to learn that at least two of the co-owners are American.
NANA PLAZA โ SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER
This Saturday, Nana Plaza is permitted to stay open until the early hours of the morning.ย The reason stems from confusing police politics, so as per usual itโs too bloody complicated to explain.ย The most important thing is to take advantage of this rare opportunity.ย Rather than make this Friday your BIG party night, change your plans to this Saturday instead.ย As a suggestion, you could start in Soi Cowboy and finish your night in Nana Plaza.ย For those bars that can remain open, the closing time is 5:00am.ย In particular, Angelwitch Go-Go Bar willย stay open as late as possible.ย It just depends if there are enough customers to warrant staying open until 5:00am.ย This has not been confirmed 100% but I will inform you if there are any changes.
NANA PLAZA โ NEON JUNGLE NEWS
Early one evening this week, I was gazing across Nana Plaza from outside Angelwitch Go-Go Bar.ย I wasnโt looking at any one thing in particular โ you know that kind of daydreaming mode.ย Perched on a stool, I was contemplating a few things.ย Just then, I suddenly realised that the former space occupied by the Big Mango Bar was completely gutted.ย It looks like it has been firebombed.ย You can clearly see rubble scattered around inside, because there are no windows, or doorways.ย Peter, the owner of the Hollywood Bars on the top level has taken over the lease.ย A few years ago, the bizarrely named โBoss Hogโsโ lost its go-go bar license.ย After enraging the boys in brown, they terminated the go-go license.ย Foolishly losing a go-go bar license is sacrilege in my books!ย Soon it will become a hotel with bonking booths, which are otherwise known as short time rooms.

Nowadays, more and more guys talk to me about Soi Cowboy.ย Some guys just want to have a general chat, but quite often, others want my opinions and recommendations.ย With the pseudonym โGo-Go Guru,โ I think itโs bound to happen!ย Personally, I think Soi Cowboy has improved immensely in recent years.ย Some people constantly say that Nana Plaza is in serious decline.ย However, I disagree with that view.ย Some people are either unaware, or theyโve forgotten how much Soi Cowboy has improved.ย Do you remember how Soi Cowboy was years ago?ย If you go back 3-10 years, Soi Cowboy was extremely rough and ready.ย Some guys also overlook the fact that Soi Cowboy has a HUGE advantage over Nana Plaza.ย That advantage is the widespread level of โshowing.โย One other BIG talking point is the level of attractive girls.ย Years ago, Nana Plaza had all the hot babes, but since then Soi Cowboy has readjusted that imbalance.
SOI COWBOY VS NANA PLAZA
I donโt always understand the โSoi Cowboy VS Nana Plazaโ dispute, because I feel that both of these go-go bar areas have a lot to offer.ย I am very pleased that Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are just a short journey apart.ย Can you imagine if Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza were miles apart?ย For many guys this would be very bad news indeed.ย We should appreciate that Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are within close proximity of each other.ย With a short stretch of road separating Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, you can comfortably visit both places in one evening.ย Therefore, we can all enjoy the best of both worlds.
