A dancer at Spanky’s Entertainment in Nana Plaza got the surprise of her life — and possibly her career — when a big-spending Singaporean plastered her Spanky’s shower stall with a jaw-dropping 150,000 baht in tips.
The woman, performing in the iconic Spanky’s shower booth, was left stunned as 1,000-baht bills rained down — not once, but three separate rounds. A photo provided by Spanky’s bossman shows her silhouette behind plexiglass, surrounded by nearly 50 wet 1K bills stuck to the inside of glass — and that was just the beginning.
“This happens more than you’d think,” said Spanky’s owner, who confirmed the total haul and noted the customer “just really liked her.”
Rather than taking her out or buying time, the guest simply enjoyed the Spanky’s shower show — and made it rain. Loudly. Lavishly. And repeatedly.
While 150K may not be unheard of for go-go drink monsters, it’s an eye-watering figure for a single night on stage — and the money went straight to the girl, not split with others.
The most shocking part? “She was back at work the next night,” the owner laughed.
Asians Love Spanky’s Shower Show
The Spanky’s boss said the guest was part of a group of wealthy, ethnically Chinese Singaporeans who’ve developed a soft spot for the wet-and-wild Spanky’s shower antics.
Backstage, you’d think other dancers might be “greener than a LINE chat bubble” with envy, watching the banknotes pile up. But there were no hard feelings — the lucky lady is known as one of the sweetest on staff, and by all accounts, she earned every baht.
Spanky’s, already one of Nana Plaza’s most beloved go-gos, might just need to install a bigger banknote slot — or start hiring bouncers for the girl after a shift like that.
As one barfly put it: “That wasn’t a tip — that was a love letter in cash.”
