Yesterday I spoke to freelance photo-journalist Andrew Chant, who was at Bangkok International Airport amid the chaos.  Andrew commented, ‘There are hundreds of frustrated Brits who are forced to sleep on coardboard mats.  They are genuinely angry, tired and depressed, it is a dreadful sight.  They are not obviously visible, because they are sleeping in the basement of Bangkok Airport.’  Andrew added, ‘They are receiving regular meals from the Thai authorities.’
