Granted, Lace Lounge is not a large bar, seating only about 40-50. But every table in Lace was sold out even before the doors opened for the Lace Lounge 1st Anniversary Party at 10 p.m. And, before that, every single seat at Tycoon downstairs was occupied as 10 p.m. approached with people eager to Go VIP and experience the unique atmosphere Nana Plaza’s “hidden bar” offers.
They were not disappointed. Things got off to a fast start with JC and the Thailand Inner Circle YouTube group piling in, followed by a troupe of sexy dancers and two smaller groups who had bottles waiting for them. The first round of Fireball shots went out and the Lace Lounge 1st Anniversary Party was full-speed from there.
By 11 p.m., all the seats were full with guys who didn’t come in groups milling about by the bar or squeezing in with new friends. Then it was showtime.

Lace Lounge and Tycoon are not showbars, so scripted shows are new to them. But a half-dozen of the bar’s most-willing ladies took to the stage in overcoats and bikinis at the Lace Lounge 1st Anniversary Party to, over the next 15 minutes, peel back layer upon layer until there was nothing left to peel. The shows repeated on the hour each hour.
Discreetly located upstairs from Tycoon, Lace Lounge is known to got late into the night and the Lace Lounge 1st Anniversary Party was no exception. As this was being written, all the bar bosses – and many of the guests – in attendance were still sleeping.
