In my last post I did not include Club Insomnia on the list of after hours clubs. The popular Club Insomnia (Sukhumvit Soi 12), which has a sister in Pattaya is now also open until 6:00 AM. This is a very large club that is very busy on weekends. I was there last night and the music was heavy techo, (which personally doesn’t do much for me), but this is a club which pulls a younger more trendy crowd than say Climax Club does. Quite a few young guys and plenty of stunning Thai girls (freelancers and after bar girls) about the place. Two very sexy dancers were shaking their stuff up on mini stages. A very impressive sound system and laser show. Like Climax Club you can smoke inside and they have Shisha pipes for rent so the place can get very smokey. Again to me this is a club you are either going to love or loathe, but as an after hours venue is has to be among the top of the list of places to check out.
